All orders are hand-cut, so, usually, your package will leave our facility within 7-10 business days from the date you order. Often, it’s shipped sooner than that. Bulk meat orders (1/2 cows, whole cows, 1/4 bundles, 1/2 hogs, etc.) will require a longer lead time, general rule of thumb is 4-6 weeks from your date of order. Our customer service team will keep you updated on your order status after it ships.

So Disappointed Beef Ribs
"My first visit to Simpson meats after checking out good reviews was not so good. I wanted beef ribs like Dino bones and was happy to hear they had some. When I asked they brought me out two packs one was Wagu and other was regular beef. I always heard about the Wagu beef and never tried it so thought this would be the time, also priced the same so why not right!! Well I’m pretty careful cooking beef of all cuts especially when it’s over $100 plus for 3 bone beef ribs. When I unwrap the beef ribs from the vacuum pack I notice the ribs a little on the fattier side but as I said I’ve never had Wagu before somewhat knowing it is a fattier meat but should be very flavorful. I cook these bones to perfect temperature babying the heat on my bbq and reading the internal temp before removing and resting. I was so proud and focused on cooking time. Now the cutting and eating part, I still noticed a lot of fat and when I took my first bite I knew it was so fatty and oily my excitement dropped to disappointment. It was so fatty and greasy I couldn’t eat it, this beef rib was fattier than pork belly in comparison. Not only was it the worsted beef I bitt into but I had to listen to my wife complaining as well. Not happy Simpson Meats I’m sorry but the worsted ever!! I guess maybe because it’s Wagu, I don’t know like I said never had it and maybe beef ribs could be the wrong choice for trying Wagu for the first time. Big price big loss, maybe management of Simpson Meats might say buyer beware, hope not. So disappointed now I’m relentless in going there to try something else can’t afford the risk."

"I purchased the 3 rib roast for our Christmas dinner. All I can say is this meat was phenomenal! It was plenty big enough for our party of 6 and had enough leftovers for another dinner the next evening. I have never had a better prime rib anywhere. Would highly recommend and we are not going to wait for only special occasions to serve it again."
