All orders are hand-cut, so, usually, your package will leave our facility within 7-10 business days from the date you order. Often, it’s shipped sooner than that. Bulk meat orders (1/2 cows, whole cows, 1/4 bundles, 1/2 hogs, etc.) will require a longer lead time, general rule of thumb is 4-6 weeks from your date of order. Our customer service team will keep you updated on your order status after it ships.

How Does Meat Stay Fresh During Shipment?
Your meat will come in a boxed, thick-walled, styrofoam cooler that has been packed with dry ice to ensure product stays cold during shipment. Dry ice dissipates over the period of your shipment, but the gases keep the food cold post-dissipation.

"I ordered two packages of different steaks. I haven’t had a chance to try them out yet because it’s just me and my son. I did just open up the chicken kebabs and they were fabulous. I forgot they were in the freezer in the box so I would definitely be ordering more of those and I already know the steaks are delicious. I just haven’t had time to get them out and try them yet. Everything I have gotten from you guys has been spot on. Thank you very much for letting me be part of your family. Have a great day. Be safe."

"My husband and I have been extremely pleased with all of the steaks we've purchased from Simpson's Meats. I thought they would make a nice gift for an employee's work anniversary. Imagine my surprise when she said that the steaks were sent without any dry ice. . . to TX. . . in August? Yikes! That's disappointing!"
"Always high quality meat, and this did not disappoint. Denver steaks grilled med rare, seared on the Weber at 450 degrees for 4 min on both sides, was Steak Perfection! Dano's seasoning akways, but not too much; don't cover up the flavor of the steak. Simpsons Rules. Great price and quick delivery."
